कटोरिया विधानसभा क्षेत्र बिहार के सभी विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में से एक है। यह बांका लोकसभा क्षेत्र के साथ-साथ अन्य विधानसभा क्षेत्रों का भी हिस्सा है। यहां पर 2011 की जनगणना के आधार के पर कुल 371646 जनसंख्या हैं, जिसमें से 100% ग्रामीण है और 0% शहरी आबादी है। और अनुसूचित जातियों (एससी) और अनुसूचित जनजातियों (एसटी) का अनुपात कुल जनसंख्या से क्रमशः 9.18 और 12.08 है। 2019 की मतदाता सूची के अनुसार, इस निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में 248825 मतदाता और 261 मतदान केंद्र हैं। स्वीटी सिमा हेम्ब्रम (आरजेडी) कटोरिया विधानसभा की वर्तमान विधायक हैं। एलजेपी, भाजपा, आरजेडी कटोरिया विधानसभा क्षेत्र में प्रमुख राजनीतिक दल हैं।
