स्वातंत्र्य संग्राम की पार्श्वभूमि पर 1941 मे राष्ट्र सेवा दल की पुनर्रचना हुयी थी, स्वतंत्रता के खाद ज़नतंत्रात्मक समाजवाद का स्वप्न साकार करना था, जिस पर चलते हुए राष्ट्र सेवा दल नवसमाज़ निर्मिती के लिये कटिबध्द होकर कार्य कर रहा है. सेवादल ने अपना सारा ध्यान ऐसे कार्यकर्ताओं पर केंद्रित किया है, जो निर्माण में और नवसमाज रचना के कार्यों को गति दे सके. समाज के विविध क्षेत्रों में निष्ठा, लगन और प्रामाणिकता से कार्य कर सके.
